BREAKING NEWS: Home Prices Flat in September from Month Prior

Home prices in 20 major metropolitan areas were unchanged in September from August on a non-seasonally adjusted basis, falling short of expectations for a 0.2% increase, according to the S&P Case-Shiller home prices index. From the same period the year prior, prices rose 4.9%, beating expectations for a 4.6% increase.
