BREAKING NEWS: Weekly Jobless Claims Unexpectedly Rise

The number of Americans filing for first-time unemployment benefits rose last week to 313,000 from an upwardly revised 292,000 the week prior. Wall Street expected claims to fall to 288, 000 from an initially reported 291,000.
