BREAKING NEWS: Wall Street Jumps on Fed Statement

U.S. equities extended session gains Wednesday after the Fed said it will hold interest rates low 'for a considerable time.' The Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 257 points, or 1.5% to 17329. The S&P 500 added 34 points, or 1.72% to 2006, while the Nasdaq tacked of 67 points, or 1.48% to 4615. All 10 S&P 500 sectors were in the green.
