BREAKING NEWS: Durable Goods Orders Fall 3.4% in December

The Commerce Department reports orders for long-lasting goods dropped 3.4% in December, far below a FactSet estimate of 0.5% increase. Excluding the transportation component, orders fell 0.8%, compared to a FactSet estimate of an increase of 0.6%.
