BREAKING NEWS: Wall Street Surges Despite Oil, Ruble Declines

U.S. equities reversed morning losses in early afternoon trade Tuesday, despite plunging oil prices and a falling ruble. As of 11:30 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was trading 220 points higher, or 1.27% to 17398. The S&P 500 rose 23 points, or 1.21% to 2013, while the Nasdaq tacked on 30 points, or 0.67% to 4635. Meanwhile, all ten S&P 500 sectors were in the green, with energy leading the way – up 3.69%.
