BREAKING NEWS: Weekly Jobless Claims Rise to 316,000

The number of Americans filing for first-time unemployment benefits rose last week to 316,000 from an upwardly revised 297,000 the week prior. Wall Street expected claims to fall to 291,000 from an initially reported 294,000.
