BREAKING NEWS: Economy Expands as Concern over Low Oil Prices Weighs on Districts, Fed Says in Beige Book Report

In its anecdotal Beige Book report, the Federal Reserve said the economy continued to expand at a modest to moderate pace in mid-November to December. The central bank noted demand for energy-related products and services weakened across its twelve districts, as Dallas reported slower growth and concern over the effect of lower oil prices on regional economies.
